How much does an office pod cost in Adelaide?
It depends on the model and how hard your building is to get into, so we quote rather than guess. What we can tell you now: the number always includes furniture, freight and installation, so nothing gets added at the end. Book a 15-minute call and you’ll have a firm figure the same day.
Do office pods need council approval in South Australia?
No. A ZUO is freestanding. It doesn’t fix to the floor, walls or ceiling, so it’s treated as furniture rather than building work and needs no council or planning approval. Check your lease for landlord conditions, which is usually a formality.
Do I need an electrician to install one?
No. The pod runs from one standard 10A power point. No switchboard work, no hard wiring, no building services application.
How soundproof is an acoustic pod, really?
Ours measures 29.4 dB speech level reduction, Class B under ISO 23351-1, tested by SGS. In practice: someone talking normally a metre outside drops to about the level of a whisper. Ask for the report and we’ll send all five pages before you buy.
Will a pod fit through my building and into the lift?
It arrives flat-packed, not assembled, which is what makes access work. Send us your lift internal dimensions, the narrowest point on the route from the dock, and the ceiling height where it’s going. We confirm access before you order, not on delivery day.
What’s the lead time?
Pods are built to order and shipped from the factory, so this isn’t a next-day product. Ask when you enquire and we’ll give you a date rather than a range, and we’ll tell you if something slips.
Can we move it if we relocate or change the floor plan?
Yes. That’s the point of one. No floor fixings and no building work, so it moves within the floor, moves buildings with you, and stays on your asset register instead of being written off with the fit-out.
Do you deliver outside Adelaide?
Quotes cover delivery and installation in metropolitan Adelaide. Regional South Australia and interstate are priced on the address, and we’ll tell you the figure before you commit.
Is a pod better than building a meeting room?
A built room runs into the tens of thousands, takes weeks, disrupts the floor and stays with the landlord. A pod is a fraction of that, goes in the same week, and you keep it. The one thing a built room does better is permanence, which is exactly what you don’t want on a five-year lease.
